Urban HDR/ Night Photography

Requirements: DSLR, lens(s) & Tripod.

I have been asked to create an HDR class. So, in this class, we will be shooting this awesome landmark here in ATL, Inspired by a recent outing organized by our own F8 member Carol Newsom. This is a 2 part class. We will be shooting for 2 hours at this location. We will start at dusk and work our way into the night. The transition will allow for some beautiful images! I will work with each of you to create some awesome urban HDR. I will also cover composition, metering, lens selection, all camera settings and defining what HDR really means.

Learn how to properly expose for HDR and the complete concept behind it.  Just simply taking the images is not going to give you a perfect HDR image. There is the process of merging the images to create that effect. Just sending the images through a program does not give you a perfect HDR. There are many settings that need to be learned to enhance the final product. Avoid common mistakes and go for the step–by-step instructional video for an additional $10. Unless you are versed and confident, this is a great addition to your HDR experience. (Video is PC compatible and can be converted with Flip4Mac, not provided)
